Robert L. Vincelette, Sr. of Clinton, CT. passed away on November 23, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital after a long illness with family by his side.



Robert was born May 17, 1935 in Guilford, CT. He was the son of the late Leo Joseph Vincelette and Marion (Eagleson) Vincelette.



He was employed by Wilcox Fuel in Westbrook, CT., Owner of Bob's Plumbing & Heating in Clinton, CT., and then worked for the Clinton Board of Education as Asst. Maintenance Supervisor until he retired in 2009.

Robert was born May 17, 1935 in Guilford, CT. He was the son of the late Leo Joseph Vincelette and Marion (Eagleson) Vincelette.



He was employed by Wilcox Fuel in Westbrook, CT., Owner of Bob's Plumbing & Heating in Clinton, CT., and then worked for the Clinton Board of Education as Asst. Maintenance Supervisor until he retired in 2009.



He served in the US Navy. He also served with the American Legion for over 35 years. He enjoyed his family, friends, camping and model railroading.



Robert is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jeannette Vincelette. His 6 sons, Robert and Barbara Vincelette; Jeffrey and Patricia Vincelette; Thomas Vincelette; James and Carol Hull; Michael Hull; Donald Hull; daughter Catherine and Donald Parmelee; daughter-n-law Nancy Bell Vincelette; 2 sisters Helen Fonicello and Marion Lyons; sister-n-law Lois Vincelette, 20 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many more dear friends and family.



He was predeceased by his brother Charles Vincelette and his son William Tell Vincelette.



Robert's family would like to express their deep gratitude to the Middlesex Hospice staff for their wonderful care.



Services will be held at The Swan Funeral Home in Clinton, CT. on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
